Hi! I'm Michael.

My number one mission is to help you overcome language learning difficulties and learn languages in an effective and fun way so that you can connect with more people, reach your personal goals and navigate the world with your new language.

I speak five languages - Spanish, Haitian Creole, English, French, and Brazilian Portuguese - and I understand the frustration that comes with trying to learn a new language.

Growing up, I had a strong urge to learn English because we would often have visitors from The US. I so badly wanted to be able to converse with them and felt so frustrated that I couldn’t. I took matters into my own hands and decided to take an English class, but after a few months of learning, I told myself English wasn’t for me and that it was an impossible journey so I quit.

Then, later on, I was given an English-Spanish dictionary, and my desire to learn English fully reignited. Through trial and error, I was able to develop methods that were enjoyable and worked for me. After successfully learning English, I developed a passion for learning world languages.

Learning new languages has allowed me to make meaningful and powerful connections with people from different countries I never thought possible. I’ve had the opportunity to interpret for many organizations and groups, which also led to meeting new people. It has afforded me the unique opportunity to learn about different cultures, read and comprehend books in the original languages that I speak, and give speeches in different languages.

I knew I could do so much more…

When I saw people struggle, fail, or shut down out of fear of learning a new language I started to question why they weren’t able to learn a new language like me and so many other multilinguals and polyglots have. It was then that I started to reflect on my experience.

I attended countless conferences about language learning, and second language acquisition and also researched and read literature about language learning and second language acquisition. I watched countless interviews of polyglots. I held many many seminars and also coached and taught countless people. Through my research, and experience in language coaching, I realized that the number one reason people are not successful at learning world languages is because of their limiting beliefs. They are simply not using methods that work for them and lack consistency. Just because a method worked for someone else doesn’t mean it will work for you.
